What is Pilates?
Pilates is an exercise method which teaches you awareness and control of your body. Developed in the early 20th century by Joseph H. Pilates, it strengthens the deep postural muscles to improve your core stability and improves joint strength and flexibility.
Who is it for?
Everyone! Pilates exercises are very effective for all fitness levels and adapted to suit the individual. So whether you're exercising for the first time, training for a race or recovering from back pain, you will benefit.
What are the benefits?
Pilates improves core strength, joint strength and mobility, spinal mobility, back pain, posture, flexibility, bone density and body awareness.

Group classes run in Haddenham, Long Crendon, Brill & Chearsley in Buckinghamshire and Piddington in Oxfordshire.
1:2:1 classes at your house or at my home studio in Haddenham are available at a time to suit you.

Over a hundred years since Joseph Pilates first developed his exercises, more and more people of all fitness levels are turning to this method. The original Pilates exercises can take many years to perfect.
I break down those exercises so clients can enjoy the benefits of Pilates while working safely and effectively as they move towards the more advanced exercises.
